Women's Safety in India: A Reality Check

Women’s safety in India has long been a matter of concern, and the recent cases of violence against women, both Indian and foreign, only highlight how deep the problem runs. Despite campaigns, laws, and discussions on women’s empowerment, the ground reality remains grim. India has a rich cultural heritage that reveres goddesses and celebrates the strength and dignity of women. However, the stark contrast between this venerated past and the present realities of women's safety is deeply concerning. Despite significant strides in gender equality and legal reforms, women in India often face threats to their safety, be it in public spaces, workplaces, or even within their homes. This alarming situation highlights a societal dissonance where traditional respect for women is undermined by pervasive issues like harassment, violence, and discrimination. It is imperative for the collective consciousness to shift, ensuring that women are not only celebrated in cultural narratives but also protected and empowered in everyday life. The road to achieving this requires sustained efforts in education, law enforcement, and societal change to create an environment where women can truly feel safe and respected.

The KIIT Odisha Case: A Question on Government?

Recently, a disturbing case from KIIT University in Odisha came to light. A 21-year-old Nepali student committed suicide after her intimate photos were leaked by a politician’s son from Lucknow. This wasn’t just a case of personal betrayal—it revealed a larger issue of systemic failure. Instead of ensuring justice, the university authorities allegedly removed all evidence and allowed the accused to escape to Lucknow. When Nepali students protested, around 500 of them were reportedly told to leave the college. The situation escalated to the point where the Prime Minister of Nepal had to intervene, yet mainstream media in India has largely ignored the case. This is a serious matter of concern worldwide. Why students are not safe? Why women are not safe? Where's the justice? This isn’t an isolated incident. India, known for its rich culture and hospitality, has witnessed horrifying crimes against foreign women as well. A Brazilian travel couple, who had safely visited war-torn countries like Syria, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, faced their worst nightmare in India. The woman was raped in Jharkhand in front of her husband. This raises a serious question: If India is unsafe for its own women, how can it protect foreign visitors? One of the most alarming aspects of these cases is the silence of the government and mainstream media. While social media is filled with outrage, the news channels that should be holding authorities accountable are busy with entertainment shows and political propaganda. When crimes like these happen, immediate action should follow. Instead, we see cover-ups, victim-blaming, and justice delayed—or denied. Women’s safety in India cannot improve unless:

1. Strict Laws and Swift Punishments – The legal system needs to ensure fast-track justice for victims. Political influence should not shield criminals.

2. Stronger University Policies – Institutions should prioritize student safety over their reputation and take strict action against harassment and cybercrime.

3. Better Law Enforcement – Police must be held accountable for handling women’s safety cases with urgency and sensitivity.

4. Responsible Media Coverage – The media must focus on real issues rather than distractions. Awareness and public pressure are key to ensuring justice.

5. Social Awareness and Education – Schools and colleges should educate students about consent, cyber safety, and respect for women.

Women’s safety in India is not just a women’s issue—it is a national issue. Until the government, authorities, and society take real steps to ensure safety and justice, India’s global image will continue to suffer. The question is: How many more lives will it take before we see real change?

Marital Rape in India: "Government's role and decisions in addressing the issue"

Marital Rape in India: Government's Role and Decisions in Addressing the Issue

Marital rape, the act of forcing a spouse into non-consensual sexual activity, remains a highly contentious issue in India. While rape in the context of non-marital relationships is criminalized under Section 375 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), there is a significant exception in the law that leaves married women vulnerable to sexual violence by their husbands. The IPC does not recognize marital rape as a criminal offense if the wife is above the age of 15, perpetuating a deeply patriarchal view of marriage where consent is presumed rather than affirmed.

This legal loophole has been a source of intense debate for decades, with many activists and women’s rights organizations pushing for reform. They argue that this exception denies married women the right to autonomy over their bodies and allows perpetrators to escape justice by hiding behind the institution of marriage. Despite these calls, the Indian government has hesitated to address the issue, citing concerns about the misuse of such a law and the impact it may have on family structures.

The Chhattisgarh High Court Ruling:

In a recent landmark case, the Chhattisgarh High Court made a controversial decision that reignited the debate on marital rape. A 40-year-old man was accused of committing unnatural sex with his wife, which allegedly led to her death. The trial court had convicted him under IPC Sections 376 (rape), 377 (unnatural sex), and 304 (culpable homicide), sentencing him to life imprisonment. However, in a surprising turn, the Chhattisgarh High Court, led by Justice Narendra Kumar Vyas, acquitted the man, ruling that Indian law does not criminalize marital rape. The court overturned the lower court’s judgment, emphasizing that since the law does not recognize marital rape as a crime, the man's actions could not be considered rape or homicide in this instance. As a result, the accused was ordered to be released from jail immediately.

This decision has sparked widespread outrage among women's rights organizations and legal experts. Critics argue that it highlights the flawed nature of Indian law in protecting women from sexual violence within marriage. They contend that the ruling reflects outdated, patriarchal attitudes that treat women as property and deny them autonomy over their own bodies. Activists argue that this case demonstrates the urgent need for comprehensive legal reforms to protect married women from sexual violence and ensure that marital rape is recognized as a criminal act.

Government's Stance and the Need for Reform:

Despite the growing calls for the criminalization of marital rape, the Indian government has been hesitant to enact any changes to the law. Over the years, several petitions have been filed to amend Section 375 of the IPC to make marital rape punishable. However, the government has argued that such a move could have serious social implications and lead to the misuse of the law in cases of domestic disputes. The Ministry of Women and Child Development has repeatedly cited concerns about the potential negative effects on family life and the possible misuse of the law, which it fears could be used to falsely accuse husbands in matrimonial disputes.

This stance has been met with strong criticism from women’s rights groups, who argue that the law as it stands only serves to perpetuate gender inequality and enable perpetrators of marital rape to go unpunished. They emphasize that the government’s reluctance to criminalize marital rape sends a message that women’s rights are secondary to preserving the sanctity of marriage, even when that marriage is a source of violence and abuse.

The Way Forward:

The recent Chhattisgarh High Court ruling brings to light the urgent need for legal reforms in India to recognize and criminalize marital rape. The lack of legal recourse for women who experience sexual violence in marriage not only denies them justice but also perpetuates a culture of silence and complicity around sexual abuse in intimate relationships. It is crucial for the government to prioritize the rights of women and take steps to protect them from all forms of sexual violence, irrespective of their marital status.

Internationally, countries like the United Kingdom, Canada, and several European nations have long recognized marital rape as a criminal offense, underscoring the universal understanding that consent is mandatory in all sexual relationships, including marriage. It is time for India to follow suit and ensure that its legal framework upholds the dignity, autonomy, and rights of women.

The government must take a firm stand on this issue and introduce legislation that criminalizes marital rape. This would not only provide a legal recourse for victims but also send a strong message that women’s bodies are not objects for their husbands’ use, but are deserving of respect and consent. Furthermore, it is essential to promote awareness campaigns that challenge cultural norms and educate society about the importance of consent within marriage.

In conclusion, while the Chhattisgarh High Court’s decision may have brought marital rape back into the public eye, it also underscores the critical need for legislative change. The government must recognize the harm caused by marital rape, take steps to address it through comprehensive legal reforms, and ensure that victims receive the justice and protection they deserve.

Why Saudi Arabia changed its Visa Policies for 14 Countries, including India?

Why Saudi Arabia Changed Its Visa Policies for 14 Countries, Including India?

On February 1, 2025, Saudi Arabia made a significant change to its visa policies, impacting travelers from 14 countries, including India. Under this new policy, the issuance of multiple- entry visit visas has been suspended for citizens of these countries. Travelers can now only obtain single-entry visas, which are valid for a maximum stay of 30 days. However, it is important to note that this policy change does not affect Hajj, Umrah, diplomatic, or residency visas. This move has raised questions about the reasons behind it and its implications for travelers. In this blog, we will explore the countries affected, the rationale behind the policy change, and its broader impact. The new visa policy affects the following 14 countries: Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia, Yemen. These countries share certain commonalities, including significant Muslim populations, many of whom travel to Saudi Arabia for religious purposes, business, or tourism.

Why Did Saudi Arabia Change Its Visa Policy?

The primary reason for this change is to prevent the misuse of long-term visit visas for unauthorized Hajj pilgrimages. Saudi authorities observed that some individuals from these countries were using multiple entry visit visas to perform Hajj without proper authorization. This practice bypasses the official pilgrimage quota system, which is designed to control the number of pilgrims from each country. Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and a once-in-a-lifetime obligation for Muslims who are physically and financially able to perform it. Every year, millions of Muslims travel to Mecca to participate in this religious event. Due to the massive influx of pilgrims, Saudi Arabia sets strict quotas for each country to ensure safety and logistical efficiency.

Challenges of Unauthorized Participation:

Unauthorized participation in Hajj causes several challenges:

Overcrowding: Unauthorized pilgrims increase the number of participants beyond the planned capacity, leading to severe congestion.

Logistical Issues: Managing accommodation, transportation, and security becomes difficult when the number of pilgrims exceeds the expected count.

Safety Concerns: In 2024, over 1,200 pilgrims died due to extreme heat and overcrowding, a situation worsened by unregistered pilgrims who were not accounted for in the official planning.

By tightening visa rules, Saudi Arabia aims to maintain the sanctity and safety of the Hajj pilgrimage, ensuring that only authorized pilgrims participate and that the quota system is respected.

Implications for Travelers

The new visa policy has several implications for travelers from the affected countries:

1. Existing Visa Holders: Individuals who already possess multiple entry visit visas are advised to contact Saudi embassies or consulates to verify the validity of their visas under the new rules. This is important to avoid any complications during travel.

2. New Applicants: Travelers from the affected countries must now apply for single-entry visas, which allow a maximum stay of 30 days. This change means that multiple visits to Saudi Arabia will require separate visa applications for each trip, increasing the cost and administrative burden for frequent travelers.

3. Impact on Business and Tourism: The policy change could impact business travelers and tourists who relied on multiple-entry visas for short, frequent visits. They will now need to plan their trips more carefully and possibly limit the number of visits due to the new restrictions.

4. Stay Informed: Travelers are advised to stay updated with official announcements from Saudi authorities, as visa policies may be subject to further changes. It is essential to follow guidelines and be well-prepared before planning a visit.

Conclusion

Saudi Arabia’s decision to revise its visa policies for 14 countries reflects its commitment to upholding the integrity of the Hajj pilgrimage. By implementing stricter regulations, the Kingdom aims to:

•Prevent unauthorized participation in Hajj

•Maintain crowd control and safety

•Ensure proper utilization of pilgrimage quotas

While the new rules may cause inconvenience for frequent travelers and tourists, they are designed to protect the sacred tradition of Hajj and improve the overall experience for authorized pilgrims. For travelers from the affected countries, it is essential to stay informed, plan trips wisely, and comply with the new visa regulations.

Final Thoughts

This policy change highlights Saudi Arabia’s proactive approach to managing religious tourism. As the Kingdom continues to evolve its visa policies, travelers should adapt to these changes and respect the cultural and religious significance of the regulations. If you are planning to travel to Saudi Arabia from one of the affected countries, make sure to check the latest updates, apply for the correct visa type, and enjoy a safe and respectful visit to the Kingdom.

Will Naxalism be wiped out Soon from India?

Will Naxalism Be Wiped Out Soon? A Look at the Growing Success of Defence Operations

Over the years, Naxalism has been one of India’s most persistent internal security challenges, often disrupting life in rural and tribal areas. This left-wing extremist movement, rooted in Maoist ideology, has fought against the government in hopes of establishing a classless society. However, in recent years, there has been a marked shift in the trajectory of Naxalism. A surge in counter-insurgency operations led by India’s defence forces, combined with the growing number of surrenders and the elimination of top Naxal leaders, suggests that Naxalism’s days might be numbered. In this blog, we explore why Naxalism may be wiped out sooner than anticipated, with an emphasis on the relentless operations by the Indian defence forces and the positive outcomes they are producing.

The Turning Tide: Defence Forces Taking the Lead

For years, the Indian government has struggled to combat Naxalism, which has found fertile ground in India’s rural, forested, and tribal regions. However, in recent times, the Indian defence forces—mainly the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and other specialized counter-insurgency units—have intensified their operations. These operations have led to some major successes, including the elimination of several key Naxal leaders and the dismantling of large parts of their network.

1. Strategic Military Campaigns
The security forces have employed a more strategic and systematic approach to neutralize the Naxal threat. With a focus on intelligence-gathering, surveillance, and targeted strikes, the Indian military has dealt heavy blows to Naxal strongholds. For instance, operations in states like Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Bihar have resulted in the decimation of Naxal camps and the death or capture of several top Maoist leaders. Moreover, the army’s intelligence operations have become increasingly sophisticated, involving drones, satellite surveillance, and other advanced technology. The enhanced use of intelligence has significantly weakened the Naxals' ability to launch surprise attacks or recruit new members.

2. The Surrender Campaign
Another promising sign of the movement’s weakening is the growing number of Naxals who are choosing to surrender. The Indian government, through various rehabilitation schemes, has encouraged Naxal militants to abandon the movement and return to mainstream society. These schemes offer a chance at a new life, including financial support, education, and employment opportunities for those willing to lay down their arms. Many former Naxals have surrendered in recent years, citing disillusionment with the movement’s violent ways and the hope for a better life. These surrenders not only reduce the strength of Naxal outfits but also serve as a sign of the diminishing appeal of the ideology that once drew people to the movement.

3. Cutting Off Naxal Resources and Recruitment Channels
The government has also focused on cutting off the Naxals' resources. These insurgent groups have historically relied on extortion, kidnapping, and looting to fund their operations. By addressing these economic support structures and securing vulnerable regions, security forces have diminished the Naxals' ability to maintain operations. Additionally, military pressure has made it difficult for Naxal groups to recruit new fighters. The continuous pressure from the Indian armed forces, coupled with the government’s development programs, has made the Naxal cause less attractive, particularly among the youth.

A Shrinking Battlefield: Decline in Naxal Activities

Recent reports show a significant decline in the scale and frequency of Naxal attacks. While isolated incidents still occur, the insurgents have been forced to change tactics, moving towards smaller, guerrilla-style warfare rather than large-scale confrontations. In some regions, the Naxals have even retreated deeper into forests and remote areas, making their presence less impactful. This change in strategy suggests that the Naxal movement is struggling to maintain its former influence and control. Their diminished ability to conduct large operations or sustain a large base of active combatants signals a weakening of their once formidable hold over large swathes of rural India.

The Growing Public Support for Security Forces

The success of these counter-insurgency operations has not only been a result of military action but also a growing public sentiment against the Naxal movement. Many of the rural and tribal communities that once supported the Naxals due to their grievances have now started recognizing the benefits of peace and development. As security forces continue to restore order and bring development to these areas, the support for the insurgents has declined. The government's development initiatives—such as better roads, schools, hospitals, and employment programs—have begun to gain traction. In areas where these programs have been implemented effectively, the Naxals find it harder to win over the population, as they no longer have a monopoly on addressing local grievances.

Political Will and National Unity

Another critical factor in the demise of Naxalism is the strong political will demonstrated by the Indian government. The current government has been resolute in its determination to tackle the Naxal threat. With a more coordinated effort between the central and state governments, the security apparatus has been able to implement policies that directly address the Naxals’ influence. In addition, India's commitment to national unity has galvanized support for counter-insurgency efforts. The message of the government is clear: Naxalism, which thrives on violence and division, has no place in India’s democratic, pluralistic society. The strengthening of national unity in the face of these extremist threats has further marginalized the Naxals' cause.

Can Naxalism Be Wiped Out Soon?

While it may have seemed like an insurmountable challenge a few years ago, the trajectory of Naxalism has changed dramatically. The relentless operations by India’s defence forces have made significant inroads in neutralizing the Naxal threat. The elimination of key leaders, the surrender of militants, and the growing disillusionment with the movement suggest that the Naxal struggle is losing momentum.

Although it’s unlikely that Naxalism will be completely wiped out overnight, the current trend indicates that the movement could be eradicated in the near future. If the Indian government continues its security operations while simultaneously focusing on socio-economic development in affected regions, there is a real possibility that Naxalism could be marginalized to the point of irrelevance in the coming years.

By 2026, with continued pressure from the defence forces and the public’s increasing rejection of the Naxal ideology, the insurgency may very well cease to be a significant threat to India’s internal security. The combination of military operations, political will, and socio-economic transformation points toward a future where Naxalism may no longer be a force to reckon with.

In conclusion, while Naxalism is unlikely to vanish completely in the immediate future, the continued success of defence operations, along with growing public support for peace and development, indicates that its days are numbered. The next few years could very well see the movement significantly weakened or even eradicated.

From Human Touch to High-Tech: How ATS Transformed Resume Screening?

From Human Touch to High-Tech: How ATS Transformed Resume Screening

Previously, resume assessments were the responsibility of recruiters, who worked in dimly lit offices surrounded by heaps of paperwork. Recruiters would go through resumes, carefully examining each one, usually with a coffee cup nearby. It was a comprehensive procedure that involves evaluating qualifications, experience, and talents to select the ideal individual. It was also a slow and intimidating process, but it was all managed by human judgment. Fast forward to today, and the human labor of analyzing resumes has been replaced by Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), an AI-powered technology that sorts and screens resumes automatically. The transition from human-driven art to computer precision has substantially altered the recruitment process, presenting both opportunities and challenges.

Let's look at how ATS has transformed hiring and what this means for the future. Previously, HR personnel had the arduous task of analyzing vast numbers of resumes. With mountains of paper or digital applications pouring in, recruiters struggled to sort through them all efficiently. A single recruiter could spend days or even weeks reviewing applicants for a single position, carefully scrutinizing each one to identify the best fit. However, even the most seasoned recruiter was susceptible to human error, bias, and inefficiencies. As technology advanced, so grew the demand for improved tools to manage the growing number of applications. This is when the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) was created.ATS was developed in the late 1990s with the goal of streamlining and automating the resume screening process. These early computers scanned resumes, organized them into databases, and identified the best matches based on keywords and phrases from the job description. It was the first step toward reducing the time and effort required to find qualified candidates.

The Role of ATS Today: A Recruitment Revolution. Today's ATS technology is far more complex. Modern ATS systems can analyze resumes in ways more than simple keyword searches thanks to the integration of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and complicated algorithms. They may evaluate anything from industry-specific keywords to formatting and overall readability, which makes them more efficient and accurate than ever before. Let’s take a look at some keyways ATS has changed the recruitment process:

1. Speed and Efficiency: One of the biggest advantages of ATS is its ability to process resumes at an incredibly fast pace. What once took hours or even days to do manually can now be completed in a matter of seconds. ATS systems can quickly filter through hundreds or thousands of resumes, making it easier for recruiters to focus on the most qualified candidates without being bogged down by a massive influx of applications.

2. Reducing Bias : Human bias has long been a concern in hiring. Factors like a candidate’s name, age, or background can unintentionally influence a recruiter’s decision. ATS systems, however,  are designed to focus purely on data and job-relevant criteria, which can reduce certain types of bias. By relying on objective measures such as skills and qualifications, ATS offers a more neutral approach to evaluating candidates.

3. Handling Large Candidate Pools: With the rise of online job applications, recruitment has become a global affair. Candidates can now apply from anywhere, and this increase in the number of applications can overwhelm HR teams. ATS makes it possible to efficiently process this higher volume of resumes, helping employers sort through a larger pool of applicants while still maintaining the quality of their hiring decisions.

4. Identifying the Best Candidates: ATS helps recruiters focus on the most relevant candidates by evaluating resumes against specific job criteria. The system can match keywords, skills, and experience to find individuals who meet the job description, making it easier for recruiters to narrow down the pool of applicants. This automated filtering helps ensure that no qualified candidate gets overlooked.

5. The Importance of Resume Optimization: To get noticed in an ATS, candidates must optimize their resumes for the system. Keywords, relevant skills, and proper formatting all play a critical role in ensuring a resume makes it through the filtering process. For job seekers, this has led to a new kind of expertise in "resume optimization," where career consultants teach candidates how to tailor their resumes to pass through ATS filters successfully.

The Dark Side: Challenges and Criticisms of ATS

While ATS offers numerous benefits, it's not without its drawbacks. Here are some common criticisms:

1. Reliance on Keywords: Modern ATS systems are still heavily dependent on keywords. If a candidate’s resume doesn’t match the exact keywords in the job description, it might be overlooked, even if the person is qualified for the role. This reliance on keywords means that resumes not perfectly aligned with the job’s language could suffer from misclassification.

2. Lack of Human Insight: Despite advances in AI, ATS still lacks the human intuition that can be crucial in hiring decisions. For example, ATS might miss a candidate who has an unconventional background but an extraordinary skill set, or it could give a higher score to a candidate who doesn’t truly fit the company culture, simply because their resume matches the exact keywords.

3. The ATS "Black Hole": Many candidates fear that their resume will fall into the so-called "ATS black hole." This is when a well-qualified applicant never even reaches a recruiter because their resume isn’t formatted correctly or lacks the right keywords. This can be frustrating for job seekers who feel their qualifications have been overlooked due to the system’s automated nature.

4. Challenges for Creative Roles: ATS tends to favor resumes that are structured and focused on measurable skills. For candidates applying for more creative roles—such as graphic designers or writers—the system may overlook portfolios, unique experiences, or artistic flair that could set a candidate apart. This can make it harder for creative professionals to get noticed.

What’s Next for ATS? The Future of Hiring Technology

The future of ATS is likely to be shaped by continued advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Here's what we can expect in the coming years:

1. Smarter AI and Better Machine Learning: As AI continues to improve, ATS will become even better at understanding not just keywords, but also the context and intent behind a resume. The technology will be able to evaluate resumes in a more holistic manner, considering things like leadership potential, communication skills, and cultural fit—elements that go beyond the basics of education and experience.

2. Increased Customization: In the future, employers will be able to customize their ATS platforms more easily, tailoring the system to their specific hiring needs. This customization could result in more accurate screening, helping recruiters identify the best candidates for the unique demands of each role.

3. Video and Audio Screening: ATS could soon integrate video and audio analysis as part of the screening process. With remote work becoming more common, AI may be used to assess video interviews, analyzing factors like tone, facial expressions, and body language to gauge how well candidates will fit with the team.

4. Seamless Integration with Other HR Tools: ATS will likely evolve to work even more closely with other HR technologies, including employee engagement, performance tracking, and onboarding tools. This integration will provide a more streamlined hiring process, making it easier to find candidates who not only meet the job requirements but will thrive in the long term.

Conclusion: A New Era of Recruitment

Applicant Tracking Systems have revolutionized recruitment, making the process faster, more efficient, and more data-driven. While the shift from human-powered resume reviews to AI-driven automation has brought many benefits, it has also introduced challenges that need to be addressed. The future of ATS holds exciting potential, with improvements that will allow for more nuanced, personalized, and accurate candidate evaluations.

However, no matter how sophisticated ATS technology becomes, the human element of hiring will remain irreplaceable. While machines can sort through data, only humans can make the final decision based on intuition, empathy, and understanding. The future of recruitment will be a balance between AI-powered efficiency and the human touch that has always been at the heart of great hiring decisions.

Who is Squadron Leader A.B. Devayya - A Forgotten Hero?

  Squadron Leader A.B. Devayya

Not everyone possesses the courage to lay down their lives for their country. True patriotism courses through the veins of those who genuinely understand what it means to love their homeland. India has always been a land of brave hearts, and warriors who put the nation before themselves. Our history is full of stories of courage, sacrifice, patriotism. Yet, not all heroes get the recognition they deserve. One such forgotten warrior is Squadron Leader A.B. Devayya, the only Indian Air Force (IAF) officer to be posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra for the 1965 Ind-Pak-war-an honor that came after long 23years.

A.B. Devayya was born in Coorg (now Kodagu, Karnataka), he was a brilliant and disciplined individual. He joined the Indian Air Force and quickly established himself as a skilled pilot. During the Indo-Pak War of 1965, Devayya was part of No.1 Squadron, known as the "Tigers," flying the Mystère IV aircraft. His courage and determination were set to etch his name in golden letters in Indian history.

On September 7, 1965, the IAF launched an air strike on the Sargodha airbase in Pakistan. Devayya was among the pilots tasked with carrying out the attack. As the Indian jets began withdrawing after completing their mission, a Pakistani F-104 Starfighhter, piloted by Flight Lieutenant Amjad Hussain, engaged in pursuit and targeted Devayya's aircraft. The F-104 was far superior to Devayya's Mystere IV, both in speed and firepower. Yet, instead of retreating, he chose to fight, although he knew that his aircraft has some technical issues and he won't be returning home. Despite suffering serious damage, he skillfully defeated the enemy aircraft, ultimately shooting it down before carshing himself. His heroic stand gave his fellow pilots a safe route back home, but he never returned.

Despite his extraordinary sacrifice, Devayya's bravery went unrecognized for over two decades. While other heroes were honored with Vir Chakra, his name faded into obscurity. His family even didn't knew about his existence or death for long 23 years. It was only in 1988, when British Author John Fricker documented the battle in his book BATTLE FOR PAKISTAN, that India finally acknowledged his heroism. Following this revelation, the Indian Government posthumously awarded him the Maha Vir Chakra-but why did it take so long?

This raises serious concerns about how the nation honors its fallen heroes. How many other warriors, who displayed similar courage, have been forgotten? Should a soldier who gave his life for the country have to wait decades for recognition? The government and armed forces must ensure the every act of bravery is acknowledged in time, so no hero's sacrifice goes unnoticed.

Though Squadron Leader A.B. Devayya is no longer with us, his story remains and inspiration for generations. His unwavering determination and sacrifice reminds us of what it truly means to serve the nation. As responsible citizens, it is our duty to remember his heroism, share his story and honor his legacy.

Let's salute this fearless warrior who fought till his last breath. His spirit will live on, reminding us that true heroes never fade away. JAI HIND!

How SEO helps in businesses- "The Lost Bakery"

The Lost Bakery: How SEO Brings Businesses to Life

Once upon a time, in a small bustling town, there was a bakery called “Sweet Crumbs.” The owner, Priya, made the most delicious cakes and pastries anyone could dream of. The locals loved her treats, but there was one problem: not enough people knew about her bakery. It was hidden in a small alley, and Priya didn’t know how to make her business stand out online. One day, a tech-savvy customer visited her bakery and asked, “Priya, have you tried SEO?”

“SEO?” she asked, confused.

“Search Engine Optimization,” the customer explained. “It’s like putting a signpost on the internet so people can find you.”

Intrigued, Priya decided to learn about SEO. She started by figuring out what people might search for online. Words like “best bakery in town,” “fresh cakes near me,” or “homemade pastries” were common. She added these keywords to her website, wrote a blog about her baking journey, and shared pictures of her cakes on social media.

Next, Priya made her website faster and easier to navigate. She also encouraged her happy customers to leave reviews online. Soon, her bakery started appearing on the first page of search engine results whenever someone searched for delicious treats.

Priya's bakery became the talk of the town. People from nearby cities started visiting, and her sales doubled. All because she learned how to use SEO to her advantage.

Just like Priya's story, SEO helps businesses connect with the right audience online. By using the right keywords, improving your website, and building trust with your customers, you can make your brand more visible. Remember, in the digital world, if you’re not showing up, you’re staying hidden. And no one wants to miss out on Sweet Crumbs, right?
